The Project coordinator is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling the team project activities under the direction of a Project manager. The Project coordinator is an integral team member in project teams appointed large or complex deliveries and is working closely with the team to ensure that project objectives are met.
The focus for the Project coordinator is to support the team in their daily delivery but from time to other this person may support with some customer facing project management work. The project manager can delegate work to the Project coordinator, but still retains the responsibility and accountability.
Support Project manager with the team forecast and escalation of chargable issues
Track the progress and quality of work being performed by development team
Monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets
Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team
Chair site team meetings and distribute minutes (if needed) to all project team members
Keep the Project manager informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations
Attend client meetings (upon request) and assist with project requirements
Provide full administrative support to the Country Units office/offices, to include answering the switchboard, mail distribution, maintaining office supply, equipment inventory and filing as needed
Event planning to include scheduling and coordinating internal and external meetings, logistics and catering
Making sure the office is clean, managing contracts with cleaners and maintenance
Project manage office moving projects and renovation/interior projects
Co-ordinate with other departments such as HR and Marketing to help driving local implementations of office branding, culture implementation etc.
To manage work related equipment such as computers and phones
To create/manage/update office documentation/handbook
Arrange travel bookings
Other additional tasks given by the executive management
Digital commerce company with offices in over 15 markets across EMEA, North America and APAC
Over 450 employees internationally.
Takes action or escalates issues at an early stage by careful control of project details
Prioritze and find ways to proceed when Project Manager is not available.
Supports the Project Manager with qualified tasks.
Interest within one or more competence areas for PM.
