Student Recruitment Specialist

The principal objective of the post is to support the Student Recruitment Manager to drive student attraction. This role is an integral part of the student recruitment function, ensuring that systems and processes are in place to activate a best in class student journey and recruitment process.
Attend appropriate school visits / conventions, career fairs and other recruitment events within the UAE and on occasion in the GCC and beyond as required.
Engage with students, parents and school careers counsellors through appropriate school visits / conventions, careers fairs and other recruitment events building our reputation as a trusted advisor.
Maintaining a comprehensive UAE database / CRM platform to include all principals / career counsellors and to gather student contact information for use in addition to up to date information regarding any engagement the university had with these audiences.
Implement student attraction plans in the UAE for all programmes offered by RCSI Bahrain in consultation with the Student Recruitment Manager.
Support the Student Recruitment Manager to build meaningful and long lasting relationships with key schools and government bodies across the UAE, through the planning, organisation and co-ordinating of local school visits, events and activities.
Build a UAE market profile detailing all key governing educational stakeholders / authorities, market trends, and any other information necessary to inform all UAE recruitment activity.
To support administration / operations of Student Recruitment e.g. manage budgets, obtain quotations, raise payments etc.
Support market study / insight generation programmes.

A higher education qualification, preferably in a business or management-related area or equivalent through experience.
Knowledge of student recruitment and admissions is desirable but not essential.
An ability to adapt to the needs of a busy and changing environment, act decisively and prioritize several initiatives to meet deadlines.
An effective communication style appropriate to audience and situation.
Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to focus on, and produce results.
Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional sales. A business degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and CRM software.
Ability to act decisively and meet deadlines.
Must be prepared to work outside normal working hours and at weekends.
